PHARRELL WILLIAMS: 24 HOURS OF HAPPY
It’s a 24 hour music video. Quite something, considering most average at 3 minutes, and have done up until now. The video starts playing from the time you’re watching, but you can click on any time you like to choose which part of the day you want to watch Pharell and his cheery chums dance about. Clever. It seems the music business has been especially keen to push things on the digital front recently, with Beyonce also having just released material in the form of a ‘visual album’ via her content rich online platform. If you’re not happy after watching this, you’ve got no hope. You are a cold and emotionless stone. You belong in a stone museum. We plan to watch the full vid, imagining we are one of these happy people, dancing ecstatically through the streets with Pharell, trying not to think about the comedown.
